Ministry History

Miracle in the Making Ministries, Inc. was formed in 1990 dedicated to providing social programs within the inner city of Augusta, GA.

From 1990 through 1996, MMM, Inc. was financed totally through the churches Robert L. Williams pastored along with his personal funds. No contributions were received until 1997 when $2,000 of a $17,250 budget was donated.

MMM, Inc. was managed as a sole proprietorship during the early years. In 1997, MMM was reorganized, applied for tax exempt status with the IRS, and changed the name of the organization from Miracles in the Making to Miracle Making Ministries, Inc. Miracle Making Ministries, Inc. is not affiliated with any church or denomination.

It is the objective of Miracle Making Ministries, Inc. to develop programs and redevelop communities throughout the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) that will offer practical solutions to the clients we define as at risk for social, academic and economic failure in society. Our projects are designed to provide for physical needs such as: utilities, food and shelter; economic needs such as: literacy, vocational training and skills development and social needs such as: personal skill enhancement, financial management training, parenting classes, and nutrition.

In the last fiscal year we have had income from monetary and real property contributions to our organization totaling 2.1 million dollars. We have collaboration with various churches, organizations and corporations. MMM has also created an active network of approximately 450 volunteers as diverse as possible with a common desire to provide some solutions concerning the problems plaguing our urban areas.
